At Portsmouth Golf Course our Class AA Status PGA Qualified Professional James Green offers a comprehensive lesson service for all levels of golfer to enjoy. Whether you have just started the great game or an experienced low handicapper, we our confident that James has the depth of knowledge to help improve your game. James's philosophy is to keep lesson content as simple and effective as possible and treats every client as an individual as there is no one perfect golf swing that fits all.
Lesson Prices
Adult 1/2 hour £20
Junior 1/2 hour £15
Adult 45 minute £25
3 Hole playing lesson £30 ( 45 - 60 minutes covering course etiquette, course management and that all important technique )
Packages
Adult 1/2 hour x 6 £100 (£20 saving)
Junior 1/2 hour x 6 £75 (£15 saving)
Adult 1/2 hour x 6 £125 including a 3 hole playing lesson (£25 saving)
Junior Saturday morning sessions
Want your child to start Golf? We currently have a junior class running from 9-10 am which is proving very popular. The sessions are fun, structured and informative covering swing basics through to etiquette and rules.
9am - 10am SPACES AVAILABLE ( Beginners)
The hour costs £5 per junior for the hour.
All equipment can be provided for all lessons.

Repair Service
At Portsmouth Golf Course we also offer a comprehensive club repair service.
Whether it's a simple re-grip or a complex re-shaft James our PGA professional can do the job.
Grips start from £4 and re-shafts £20
Come into the Golf shop to see the selection of grips offered at very competitive prices.
Don't forget a new grip = better control = straighter shots = lower scores!
